We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Nurse, Procedural to join our team. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients in accordance with physician's orders and recognized nursing techniques. Your role will involve working collaboratively with physicians and staff, promoting teamwork and demonstrating initiative and sound judgment in decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patient needs before, during, and after procedures to provide supportive care.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, as well as assist with completing procedure logs.
• Clearly and accurately communicate pertinent information to physicians and co-workers.
• Ensure a safe environment for patients to prevent injuries.
• Intervene in problem situations and report information to supervisors, providing complete and accurate documentation.
• Follow Standard Precautions and use personal protective equipment as appropriate.
• Maintain and clean endoscopy equipment and patient monitoring equipment.
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and medications.
• Administer oral and IV medications and pharmaceuticals in a safe and accurate manner.
• Ensure that patients understand and sign informed consents prior to sedation.
• Assist physicians in performing procedures.
• Supervise patients receiving Conscious Sedation/Analgesia.
• Maintain sterility and cleanliness of the procedure room, and set up and test endoscopy equipment.
• Report situations beyond your capability or job responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• May be cross-trained to provide pre and post-operative nursing care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

License/Certifications:

• Valid CA RN license required.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Experience:

Two (2) years of experience in Nursing required. Five (5) years preferred.
