Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, located in Los Angeles, California, is looking for Pharmacy Technicians to join our team on a per diem basis. We are a non-profit hospital and provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. As a Pharmacy Technician at Cedars-Sinai, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist and perform a variety of tasks. This includes preparing and delivering medications accurately and on time, prioritizing workflow, and maintaining documentation. You will also use technology safely and effectively to prepare and distribute medications, as well as support patient care with the electronic medical record. Additionally, you will assist with medication reconciliation, communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patients, and participate in new initiatives to support patient care. To qualify for this role, you will need a high school diploma or GED and be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the California State Board of Pharmacy. You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to use software applications and operate technological devices. Previous hospital experience is preferred.
