Join Dr. Ophir Klein and his team as a Postdoctoral Scientist in Guerin Children's! The Klein Laboratory is searching for a Postdoctoral Scientist to join our team and contribute to new and ongoing research projects, provide specialized support for lab experiments, and promote research education at Guerin Children's. Are you ready to be part of groundbreaking research? Working closely with the Principal Investigator and other Research Scientists, the Postdoctoral Scientist will independently perform various laboratory procedures during the training period. You may also develop new research techniques, analyze data, and assist in grant proposals and publications. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing grant proposals and participate in publications and presentations. - Design and conduct experiments, record and analyze results in collaboration with the Principal Investigator. - Develop and implement new research techniques and protocols. - Analyze, interpret, summarize, and compile data. - Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures. - Operate and maintain equipment and instruments. - Observe relevant research interactions between medical professionals and patients or research subjects. Educational Requirements: - Doctorate Degree (MD, PhD, VMD, or DDS) directly related to the field of research specialization. Experience Requirements: - One (1) year of experience, with one (1) to five (5) years of post-doctoral appointment, demonstrating technical and theoretical knowledge of research projects. - Ability to work independently on research projects within your specialization.
