Relationship Manager, Business Cards & Payments - Acquisitions (Jacksonville)

Our Field Sales teams work closely with Small and Mid-Sized Business owners to build long-lasting relationships. By understanding their business and their B2B needs, we provide strategic advice and guidance in selecting the right products for maximizing their rewards and benefits.

We are committed to helping our customers manage their finances with ease and improve their business profitability. To achieve this, we are building field-based regional teams that engage with small and mid-sized businesses within their own communities. We aim to be accessible, flexible, and present in the lives of these customers.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting small and mid-size businesses to thrive and grow. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and advocate for our customers. You should be innovative, highly organized, and demonstrate a track record of driving business results while providing excellent customer service. Independent, goal-oriented individuals will thrive in our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Use consultative techniques to educate prospective customers on how our payment solutions can positively impact their business
  • Understand the purchasing needs and behavior of local small and mid-sized businesses
  • Analyze total business spend of small and mid-sized businesses to identify additional opportunities
  • Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, and how they integrate with client-side processes
  • Assist businesses with incorporating our products into their purchasing platform and bookkeeping software
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, pipelines, and closed sales in CRM systems
  • Acquire new customers through cold calling and prospecting
  • Participate in educational and networking events
  • Establish relationships with influential individuals within the local business community
  • Drive increased charge volume on the card with new clients

Competencies:

  • Excellent project and process management skills
  • Effective interpersonal influence and networking abilities
  • Strong presentation skills tailored to customer needs
  • Ability to secure appointments with clients and prospects
  • Organized, with strong telephone and PC skills
  • Demonstrated experience in hunting for new business in the field

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years of outside customer sales experience, including new acquisition and client portfolio management
  • 1 year of experience working with small and mid-sized business customers
  • 1 year of experience in the financial industry
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.com and Google Suite
