What You'll Do: - Work collaboratively with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies. - Partner with experienced developers specializing in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full stack systems. - Stay up-to-date with the latest tech trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in internal and external tech communities, and mentor other engineers. - Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that provide powerful experiences, empowering millions of Americans to achieve financial well-being. - Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, and Scala, as well as NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and Redis, and a variety of AWS tools and services. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree. - At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply). Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience with Java. - 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service. - 2+ years of experience working on real-time data and streaming applications using Apache Spark. - 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Mongo, or Graph Databases. - 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling complex data pipelines for Machine Learning Models. - 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks. - 2+ years of experience in Agile practices. - 2+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting. - AWS Certification.
