The hourly range for this position is $19.60-21.75. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
Weekday's 1st - 6:00am – 4:30pm (OT as required)
Summary:To support all aspects of KSMS Tier I, II, III and IV achievement goals and objectives with resources necessary to complete all levels. The Supervisor is to ensure all areas they manage are implementing and sustaining all initiatives of KSMS safety standards. The individual needs to ensure that their areas of responsibility are operating in the absolute safest working environment for its associates and their activities at all times.
Specific Responsibilities:- Perform time studies and establish least waste process/manufacturing procedures within Finishing Departments.
- Develop masking and racking techniques for the Finishing Departments.
- Develop/maintain routings and Bill of materials along with related SAP activities to support standard business procedures.
- Direct and coordinate product and process modifications to improve quality, efficiency, and safety, meet customer requirements, and reduce inventory.
- Provide technical support to the Finishing Departments.
- Communicate and interact effectively, both oral and written with manufacturing personnel, first line supervision, and all other levels of plant and division management, customers, and vendors as part of a team-based organization.
- Support AFO’s compliance with ISO industry standards and the Kohler Quality Management Systems (KQMS) as required.
- Perform and direct capability analysis/layouts for all N & M code components within the finishing departments.
- Improve efficiency, by reducing scrap and decreasing cost, in finishing processes.
- All other tasks and responsibilities as defined by the Supervisor/Manager.
Must be able to function in a heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, coolants, oils, noise, heights, and confined spaces. Bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 40 pounds or more. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand/walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
Competency Requirements:- High school diploma.
- Must have been within your current position for at least 3 months.
- No written warnings on performance, attendance, or conduct within a 3-month period.
- No final written warnings on performance, attendance, or conduct within a 6-month period.
