At Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, we perform and interpret nearly 500,000 inpatient and outpatient exams and procedures annually. Our board-certified radiologists and imaging specialists specialize in different subspecialties, ensuring exceptional care. With our advanced imaging technologies and patient-centered approach, we provide innovative treatment options in a caring environment.

Summary of Essential Duties:

• Utilize your strong IV skills to perform POC testing and administer IVs to CT/MR Imaging patients
• Access PICC lines as necessary
• Screen patients for allergies, kidney disease, and MR safety precautions
• Assess patients' vital signs and manage allergic reactions effectively
• Maintain patient schedules and ensure smooth flow of operations
• Assist patients with dressing and walking to imaging rooms
• We are seeking an RN with availability for 2 days per week and as backfill for vacation and sick time

Education:

• Completion of an accredited nursing program is required
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) degree is required

License/Certifications:

• Must have a valid and unrestricted California RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience is required
• Experience in an imaging department is preferred
• Demonstrated IV skills are necessary
