Your Qualifications- At least 3 years of paid professional tax preparation experience, using professional tax preparation software
- Successfully prepared a minimum of 125 tax returns per tax season for the last 3 years
- Experience in preparing various federal and provincial tax returns for individuals, including students, pensioners, self-employed individuals, rental property owners, investors, and those with foreign income
- Proficiency in preparing and filing comprehensive customer personal returns, including employment, self-employment, rental, investments, T1135, foreign income, as well as all credits and deductions
- Knowledge of tax laws and concepts, excellent critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with Windows and mobile platforms, as well as G-suite applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible availability/schedule
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
- Experience in preparing Quebec tax (TP1) returns is considered an asset
- Experience providing support in a contact center environment is considered an asset

Your Responsibilities- Provide expert tax guidance for personal tax returns in a remote, seasonal, and customer-facing role
- Collaborate with customers to prepare or review their tax return, ensuring compliance and accuracy through tax guidance and/or tax preparation services
- Research and address tax-related inquiries, providing specific answers to customer questions (written and oral)
- Deliver a full-service experience by preparing, reviewing, and filing customer returns with the CRA (Canada Revenue Agency), or assisting customers in preparing their own tax return with personalized advice and guidance on required documents
- Stay updated on tax regulations to provide accurate advice on maximizing customers' tax returns
- Create exceptional customer interactions and experiences that inspire confidence, using empathy, extensive tax knowledge, and expertise
- Proactively find the right solutions for each customer by utilizing government websites, professional resources, and team expertise, and presenting information in everyday language
- Follow established procedures and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is as follows:
- Prince Edward Island: $25.50 - $34.50
- British Columbia: $25.50 - $34.50
- Nova Scotia: $25.50 - $34.50
