About the role:

We are looking for a Sr. Director, Technical Program Manager who will lead programs that align with our business goals and involve building large-scale products and platforms using Generative AI. In this role, you will collaborate with product, tech, and lines of business teams to execute our business strategies. You will define objectives, roadmaps, and technical requirements for our Generative AI platforms. Your strong technical background and system architecture skills will be essential for success in this role.

In addition to the technical program management responsibilities, you will also contribute to the growth of the TPM discipline within our organization by sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technology discussions with senior leadership to provide insights and recommendations
• Build and lead a team of technical engineers or program managers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
• Simplify complex technical concepts and drive well-informed decisions
• Focus on execution, problem-solving, and results
• Promote cross-team collaboration and work across different functions and organizations
• Have a strong sense of empathy and emotional intelligence

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 9 years of experience managing technical programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing
• 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing
• 5+ years of experience building and leading engineering or TPM teams
• 5+ years of experience building highly scalable mobile products and platforms
• 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery
• 5+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs
• Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)
• MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering) or equivalent experience

Salary Range:

New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $267,300 - $305,100 for Sr. Director, Technical Program Management

San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $283,100 - $323,100 for Sr. Director, Technical Program Management
