Join our team at 7North, a 64-bed Orthopedic (Ortho) unit. We specialize in providing high-quality care for orthopedic surgery, injuries, and diseases including joint replacements, orthopedic oncology, geriatric fractures, trauma, and more. As a Registered Nurse IV on 7North, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering exceptional patient care throughout the nursing process.

• As an expert clinician, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in your specialty area as well as in general nursing.
• Your commitment to excellence will shine through in all aspects of nursing practice, including care delivery, staff education, research, and collaboration.
• You will handle complex and unpredictable patient care situations, serving as a nursing leader.

Educational Requirements:

• Must have a BSN or higher degree.

Licenses/Certifications:

• California State RN License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• National Specialty Certification (i.e. CMSRN)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of acute RN experience, including 3 years in the specialty area.
• Must meet specialty-specific clinical competencies for the assigned area.
• Maintained a satisfactory Clinical Nurse III status for at least one (1) year.
• Overall performance evaluation of “Strongly Meets” or higher.
• Meets clinical criteria and protocol of Clinical Nurse IV.
