Come join our 7North team, a 64-bed Orthopedic (Ortho) unit. We provide high-quality care for orthopedic surgery, injuries, and diseases, including joint replacement, orthopedic oncology, geriatric fractures, and trauma. We also support spine and general surgery patients, as well as medical patients.

As a Registered Nurse IV on 7North, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing patient care. Your expertise and leadership will make a difference in our patients' lives.

• As an expert clinician, you will demonstrate exceptional knowledge and skills in your specialty and general nursing.
• You will excel in all areas of nursing practice, including care delivery, staff education, research, and collaboration.
• You will manage complex patient care situations and provide leadership to your nursing team.
• You will serve as a resource to promote nursing advancement within the unit, the organization, and the community.
• You will use your clinical knowledge to optimize care and save time and costs.
• You will have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure proper delegation, documentation, and oversight of care.

Educational Requirements:

• BSN or higher required.

Licenses/Certifications:

• California State RN License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• National Specialty Certification (i.e. CMSRN)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of acute RN experience, including 3 years in the specialty area
• Meets clinical competencies specific to the assigned area
• Maintained satisfactory Clinical Nurse III status for at least one (1) year
• Received an overall performance evaluation of "Strongly Meets" or higher
• Meets clinical criteria and protocol for Clinical Nurse IV
