Join our 64-bed Orthopedic (Ortho) unit, 7North, where we provide high-quality care for orthopedic surgery, injury, and disease. We specialize in joint replacement, orthopedic oncology, geriatric fracture and trauma. We also support spine and general surgery patients as well as medical patients.

As a Registered Nurse IV on 7North, your role will involve supervising and applying the nursing process to deliver patient care.

• Show expertise and excellence in your nursing practice, both in your specialty and in general nursing.
• Demonstrate leadership by providing outstanding nursing care, educating staff, conducting research, and collaborating with others.
• Manage complex and unpredictable patient care situations, serving as a nursing leader.

Educational Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.

Licenses/Certifications:

• California State RN License
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• National Specialty Certification (e.g., CMSRN)

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of acute RN experience, including 3 years in the specialty area.
• Demonstrated clinical competencies for the assigned specialty.
• Maintained satisfactory Clinical Nurse III status for at least one year.
• Received an overall performance evaluation of "Strongly Meets" or higher.
• Meets clinical criteria and protocol of a Clinical Nurse IV.
