Join our team at 7North, our specialized 64-bed Orthopedic (Ortho) unit. We provide high-quality care for orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and diseases, with a focus on joint replacement, orthopedic oncology, geriatric fracture and trauma. We also offer support for spine and general surgeries, as well as medical patients.

In the role of a Registered Nurse IV on 7North, you will be responsible for supervising and applying the nursing process throughout patient care delivery.

• You will be an expert in your field, demonstrating exceptional knowledge and expertise in a specific specialty and general nursing.
• You will consistently excel in all areas of nursing practice, including care delivery, staff education, research, and collaboration.
• You will handle complex and unpredictable patient care situations, serving as a nursing leader.

Educational Requirements:

• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree is required.

Licenses/Certifications:

• You must possess a valid California State RN License.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• National Specialty Certification (e.g., CMSRN) is highly desired.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of acute RN experience, including at least 3 years in the relevant specialty area, is required.
• You must have achieved and maintained the Clinical Nurse III status for at least one (1) year.
• Your overall performance evaluation should be rated as "Strongly Meets" or higher.
• You should meet the clinical criteria and protocol for the Clinical Nurse IV designation.
