We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team on the 4South unit. This unit provides quality care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including pneumonia, tuberculosis, sepsis, sickle cell anemia, and cancer. We also provide palliative care and support for patients and caregivers. On 4South, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, use state-of-the-art facilities, and make a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

As a Registered Nurse on the 4South unit, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct and indirect patient care services in a timely and compassionate manner
• Providing patient education on disease prevention and restorative measures
• Administering medications and therapeutic agents as part of the treatment plan
• Performing procedures such as skin tests, immunizations, and phlebotomy
• Assessing and monitoring patients' physical condition and responding to any changes or emergencies
• Implementing individualized care plans and addressing the unique needs of diverse patient populations

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN or higher preferred.
• Current California State RN License required
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification preferred. Must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 3 years recent acute RN experience in specialty. Note: (minimum 1 year recent acute RN experience will be considered for Registered Nurse II)
• Working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice
• Dedication to customer service and ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and colleagues
• Ability to adapt care to meet the unique needs of diverse patient populations
