We are looking for a Clinical Nurse, Procedural to join our team!

As a Clinical Nurse, Procedural, you will provide personalized and specialized nursing care to our patients in line with physician's orders, recognized nursing techniques, and the legal aspects of nursing practice. You will work collaboratively with physicians and staff, demonstrating teamwork and initiative in decision-making.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide supportive care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and assist with completing procedure logs.
• Clearly and accurately communicate relevant information to physicians and co-workers.
• Create a safe environment for patients to prevent injuries.
• Investigate and intervene in problem situations, reporting information to supervisors and documenting accurately.
• Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as necessary.
• Maintain and clean equipment, including endoscopy equipment and patient monitoring devices.
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and medications.
• Safely administer oral and IV medications and pharmaceuticals.
• Ensure patients understand and sign informed consents prior to sedation.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Supervise patients receiving Conscious Sedation/Analgesia.
• Maintain the sterility and cleanliness of the procedure room.
• Seek assistance if a situation exceeds your capabilities or job responsibilities. Report and communicate errors.
• May be trained to provide pre and post-operative nursing care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Valid CA RN license required.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience required. Five (5) years preferred.
