As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, Care Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai, your minimum commitment will be 4 shifts per month on weekends. Your responsibilities will include:

• Serving as a clinical co-pilot, ensuring each patient's care accommodates their unique needs, including medical, psycho-social, financial, and practical requirements.
• Becoming part of our shared culture of passion, compassion, and sophistication, which makes working here an exhilarating experience.
• Broadening your scope of experience in our Magnet-designated, teaching environment that provides access to the most sophisticated resources and brand-new capabilities.
• Coordinating the care and service of patients from admission to discharge.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating options and services to meet an individual's health needs, ensuring a safe and timely discharge to the next appropriate level of care.

Educational Requirements:

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing and CA License

Licenses:

• Preferred: Experience and certification in Case Management
• Expected within 2 years of hire: Case Management certification
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in Acute Care Nursing
