Join our Med Surg/Tele Unit and be part of a diverse team that provides patients with trust and support. In this unit, you will offer direct and indirect care to patients with various Med Surg/Tele cases, such as Cardiac, Stroke, Renal, and Diabetic conditions. Your role involves collaborating with physicians, Nursing Unit Directors, Charge Nurses, and co-workers to discuss changes in the patient's condition.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

• Providing direct care to assigned patients in an inpatient setting
• Assessing patient care and learning needs appropriately
• Deciding on priorities for patient care problems within your assigned patients and taking responsibility for resolving them, utilizing all available resources
• Planning patient care and education, predicting patient outcomes, treatment complications, and psychosocial needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Managing time effectively to complete all assignments in a timely manner for patient safety

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Educational Requirements:

Minimum: Associate's Degree in Nursing

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

License/Certifications:

Current California RN license

BLS certification through the American Heart Association

ACLS certification through the American Heart Association

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg/Tele experience (Required)

Working Title: Registered Nurse II - Med Surg/Tele Unit (1N), Full-time, NIGHTS ($7,500 Sign-on Bonus)
