What will you be doing in this role? As an LVN, you will support physicians and nursing staff in delivering healthcare by performing patient care assessments and various medically related tasks. You will work in an ambulatory care setting and provide nursing services. Job duties and responsibilities: - Set up exam rooms and procedure rooms based on patient needs. - Perform initial nursing intake and prepare patients for examination. - Review medications and medical records to prepare patients for examination. - Prepare medical charts and record patient information such as vital signs. - Provide basic patient care and treatments, including taking vitals and performing diagnostic tests. - Observe patients and report any changes in condition to the provider. - Serve as a patient advocate and utilize appropriate resources to support patient care. Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. - Current and valid California LVN License required. - BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross required. - IV/Phlebotomy certification must be obtained within one year of hire date. - 1+ years of LVN experience in an outpatient setting preferred. - 1+ years of OB/GYN experience highly preferred.
