We are currently seeking a Radiology Technician (CRT) who will support patient care by performing x-rays as directed by physicians for diagnostic purposes. The role requires proficiency in using x-ray equipment and following procedures as assigned. Additionally, the CRT will perform administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth operations of physicians' offices and other healthcare practitioners.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate clinical competency and technical skills as a CRT
• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures and position patients on the examining table
• Adjust equipment to obtain optimal views of specific body areas as ordered by clinicians
• Exercise independent judgment in performing procedures as outlined in the technique chart
• Build working relationships with other departments related to radiology services
• Have a basic understanding of patient care flow and insurance concepts
• Use appropriate technique charts and ensure markers are set correctly
• Maintain quality control logs based on manufacturers' recommendations
• Follow proper infection control processes
• Provide patient education on requested studies and assist in new staff orientation

Requirements:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required)
• Certified by the State of California to practice and administer radiation (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written (required)
• One year of experience under a Board-Certified Radiologist (preferred)
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology (required)
• Basic computer knowledge (required)
