About the Team

We are looking for a User Experience and Interface Designer to join our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) Center of Excellence (CoE) Team. The CoE focuses on improving the user experience and interface of our products. Working closely with the product delivery teams, this team drives innovation and provides consulting to accelerate product modernization and create new solutions. This role offers a challenging opportunity to lead the digital innovation journey at FIS.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide design consultancy to projects across the organization.
• Play a key role in designing innovative user interfaces for projects across GDO.
• Implement projects across the organization.
• Collaborate with presales to develop future-proof solutions for customers/prospects.
• Support projects in achieving GDO objectives for cost savings and reduced time to market.
• Identify solution accelerators, best practices, and standardized technology stack.
• Showcase research initiatives and FIS solutions to internal and external business executives.
• Identify future areas of research and innovation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Angular, including work with Angular 7+ for the past 2 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead engagements and work in an agile manner.
• Proficiency in SCSS.
• Experience architecting solutions using emerging digital technologies.
• Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.
• Stay up to date with design technologies.
• Expert knowledge of front-end development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap & SASS, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
• Good understanding of web standards, SEO, and accessibility.
• Experience developing interactive websites/pages using CSS/JS to enhance user experience.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with JavaScript development.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js and Angular 7+
• Knowledge of MySQL, SQL, Marketo, and third-party plugin implementation is highly preferred.
• Experience working with CMS, Portal technologies, and backend frameworks (experience with Sitecore is a plus).
• Strong experience in designing and developing large-scale business applications.
• Experience in designing responsive UI and optimizing performance.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of FIS' products and services.
• Familiarity with the financial services industry.
• Understanding of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
• Experience with UX design principles, such as the human-centered design process, is a bonus.
