About the Team

This role is part of our Global Delivery Organization (GDO) CoE Team, which focuses on user experience and interface design for our products. The CoE works closely with product delivery teams to help them modernize and build new solutions. This team provides leadership, consultation, and adoption of emerging technologies across GDO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead digital innovation at FIS.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide design consultancy to projects across the organization.
• Play a key role in innovative UI design for projects across GDO.
• Implement projects across the organization.
• Collaborate with presales to develop future-proof solutions for customers/prospects.
• Support projects in achieving cost savings and faster time to market.
• Identify solution accelerators, best practices, and standardized technology stack.
• Showcase research initiatives and FIS solutions to internal and external executives.
• Identify future areas of research and innovation.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with Angular, with a focus on Angular 7+ in the past 2 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and be agile in your approach.
• Hands-on experience with SCSS.
• Experience in architecting solutions using emerging digital technologies.
• Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.
• Up-to-date with design technologies.
• Expert knowledge of front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap & SASS, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager.
• Good understanding of web standards, SEO, and accessibility.
• Experience developing interactive websites/pages using CSS/JS to enhance user experience.
• In-depth knowledge and strong experience in JavaScript development.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Node.js and Angular 7+.
• Knowledge of MySQL, SQL, Marketo, and third-party plugin implementation preferred.
• Experience working with CMS, portal technologies, and backend frameworks (Sitecore is a plus).
• Strong experience in designing and developing large-scale business applications.
• Experience in designing responsive UI and performance optimization.
