About the team:

The TRANSAXpay Delivery Team is a small team responsible for implementing the TRANSAXpay suite of products for new and existing clients. The testing team works closely with clients and specializes in configuring and testing TRANSAXpay deployments. While their focus is card payments products, they also handle non-card payment systems. The environment is fast-paced, and the team must adapt to changing priorities and client needs.

What you will be doing:

  • Taking client requirements and creating software configurations to meet their needs.
  • Testing software builds to ensure all requirements are met through manual testing.
  • Leading a team of Testers.
  • Reviewing progress with project managers, IT leadership, technical teams, and internal customers.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on test methodologies to teams.
  • Suggesting improvements to the software testing process.
  • Designing and monitoring performance metrics for quality improvement.

What you will need:

  • Experience in software testing (front-end and back-end) and mentoring others.
  • Experience in software testing within the Waterfall methodology.
  • Ability to translate requirements into software configurations that meet the desired outcomes.
  • An understanding of application development and knowledge of quality management.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux command-line for file system navigation, searching through large log files, and moving files.
  • Experience with Oracle databases or similar, including writing queries for data validation and troubleshooting with SQL.
  • An understanding of the card payments lifecycle and the actors involved.
  • Excellent communication skills, being able to bridge the gap between technical staff and non-technical individuals.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and understand the balance between FIS needs and client expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience in testing card payments systems, especially card payment terminals (PEDs).
  • Experience in cardholder present acquirer certification/accreditation testing.
  • Experience using UL Tools (formerly Collis) testing tools or equivalent tools for testing card payments systems.
  • Knowledge of basic Unix Shell scripts.

What we offer you:

  • Opportunities to innovate in fintech.
  • Tools for personal and professional growth.
  • An inclusive and diverse work environment.
  • Resources to invest in your community.
