We are currently seeking a Database Administrator with experience in Oracle, MySQL, and Oracle Exadata to join our team. About the Role

As a senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting highly visible production databases. Your main tasks will include managing backups, providing on-call support, and assisting with database design and development. Additionally, you will be involved in disaster recovery testing and implementing security measures to protect data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively manage backups and ensure successful processes for data recovery
• Provide on-call support for database issues and resolve recurring problems
• Assist with design and development of databases to meet business requirements
• Ensure project timelines are met and escalate customer outage issues
• Participate in recovery and disaster testing procedures
• Implement backup/recovery procedures to protect data integrity
• Review databases and systems to ensure optimal performance
• Provide 24/7 support for production databases
• Create and maintain infrastructure designs for applications
• Report detailed status updates and recommendations for improvement
• Utilize MySQL and have knowledge of Exadata database and storage concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Information Management or Computer Science
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Core DBA, MYSQL DBA, and Oracle Database
• Experience with Oracle Database Architecture, Upgrade, and Exadata Database Machine
• Familiarity with Oracle RAC DBA and Oracle tuning
• Optional skills include IBM AIX, Linux Environments, and Oracle Linux
• Ability to handle large amounts of data and perform capacity planning
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good to have OCP - Oracle Certification
