Job Description:

FIS Management Services, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer Senior in Jacksonville, FL. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and/or new products used in computer programs. You will collaborate with product managers and users to define system requirements and make necessary modifications. Additionally, you will participate in software design meetings, write technical specifications, develop code, perform testing and debugging, complete documentation and procedures, and train internal teams on system applications. Your responsibilities will also include developing project plans, evaluating systems specifications, and delivering presentations to technical and business groups.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering Science, or related field
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation
• Experience in:
  • Performing Microservices architecture and building services via RESTful and SOAP Webservices
  • Programming in Java/J2EE
  • Working with Spring Security
  • Utilizing DevOps tools like Git, GitHub, and Jenkins
  • Building and maintaining Docker images
  • Working with cloud technologies, such as AWS or OpenShift
  • Experience with Oracle
  • Performing security scans using Veracode and BlackDuck
  • Developing responsive web applications using JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
• Alternatively, a Master's degree in the above-listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above-listed skills will be accepted
• Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies
