The Role: We are looking for an ML Engineer to join our Data Science Enablement (DSE) team in the Worldpay Data Strategy & Solutions (DSS) unit. The DSE team is responsible for creating scalable cloud-based solutions for hosting data science models. Your role will involve working at the intersection of Data Science, cloud engineering, and MLOps. You will be instrumental in productionizing real-time prediction models and enabling new data science products. You will also contribute to building and improving microservices solutions and related data flows. Collaboration with Product, Engineering, and other Data Science teams will be crucial in shaping and delivering custom solutions. This role is suitable for experienced ML Engineers, engineering-minded data scientists, and data-minded engineers. What You Bring: - General knowledge of the Data Science lifecycle and Machine Learning fundamentals. - Experience with cloud platforms and typical system components, including CI/CD, automation, database connectivity, and APIs. - Understanding of MLOps and DevOps solutions and best practices. - Ability to design and implement robust engineering solutions and data products. - Familiarity with container technology such as Docker. - Proficiency in Python, Linux, and Git. - Basic understanding of cloud IAM and security aspects. - Bonus if you have experience with payments or banking processes. - Enjoy collaborating with Data Science and Engineering teams to support model implementations. - Excitement and flexibility in learning new tools and technologies. - Exposure to delivering projects using Agile methodology. Background: Master's in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with at least five years of relevant work experience.
