We have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer to join our ChexSystems Compliance team. **About the team:** The ChexSystems Compliance team is responsible for ensuring compliance with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and maintaining the ChexSystems Compliance Program. As a Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the team to manage day-to-day compliance needs, assist in audits, and act as the deputy Compliance Officer. **What you will be doing:** - Stay updated about regulatory changes that impact FIS products and services - Establish operational objectives and work plans - Develop and execute company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Respond to compliance issues and perform periodic reviews and evaluations - Assist in providing final disposition of any discrepancies regarding compliance issues - Design and deploy processes to validate compliance with regulatory requirements - Conduct compliance assessments and provide direction on any deficiencies - Meet with business unit Compliance Officers for status updates - Monitor line of business compliance activities to ensure regulatory deadlines and requirements are met - Participate in training to promote compliance awareness - Identify areas for potential improvement and provide updates for periodic reports - Interface with legal counsel and regulatory agencies as needed **What you bring:** - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or equivalent - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Comprehensive knowledge of at least one area of compliance - Strong analytical skills and ability to understand technical and legal documents - Ability to plan and complete work within deadlines - Creative problem-solving skills and ability to follow a compliance monitoring program - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues - Ability to share information effectively **What we offer you:** - A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and varied opportunities - A modern, international work environment with a dedicated and motivated team - Competitive salary and benefits - A work environment built on collaboration, flexibility, and respect **Application Process:** If you are interested in this position, please submit your application through our online portal.
