Position Details:
- Position Type: Full-time
- Type of Hire: Experienced (relevant combination of work and education)

- Travel Percentage: 25 - 50%
About the Team:
Our team is involved in designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software. We work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements and deliver quality technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide application software development services in defined projects.
- Develop program logic for new applications or modify logic in existing applications.
- Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
- Make recommendations for new code development or reuse of existing code.
- Ensure successful implementation of system improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of Production Support experience in JAVA and LINUX based applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Unix/Linux based applications and knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
- Experience in Oracle and SQL Server Database.
- Experience in structured Ticketing Management environment (Incident Ticket, Problem Ticket, Change Ticket, and Service Request).
- Ability to analyze application logs, troubleshoot issues, determine action, and ensure smooth application environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of FIS' products and services.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Knowledge and experience in WebSphere 9, JBOSS, OpenShift Container Management.
- Knowledge in ServiceNow (SNOW), Dynatrace, Splunk.
- Knowledge of Bit Bucket, JENKINS, REST Webservices.
- Knowledge of networking/load balancer concepts.
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
