General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plans and coordinates all aspects of projects from start to finish
  • Identifies project requirements, goals, and contacts
  • Ensures projects align with operational standards and develops alternative requirements when needed
  • Creates project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Assigns and directs project team members and resources
  • Coordinates activities with internal departments and external organizations
  • Manages project risks and issues
  • Serves as a liaison between stakeholders
  • Delivers presentations to business groups
  • Facilitates project closure activities and conducts post-implementation review
  • May oversee specific projects and manage employees
  • Identifies areas for improvement and implements solutions
  • Some travel may be required

Education Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards and best practices
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Advanced skills in project management software
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with clients and manage teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive assignments

Career professional role. Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency. May coach and mentor junior staff. Manages large and complex projects with high risk and visibility. Works independently with minimal supervision. Requires significant experience in financial services or related industries.
