About the team:

Our team is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications software within budget and on time. We work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to ensure technical solutions align with business and IT strategies and meet FIS architectural standards.

What you will be doing:

• Provide application software development services for defined projects.
• Develop program logic for new applications or modify logic in existing applications.
• Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications.
• Make recommendations for new code development or reusing existing code.
• Ensure successful implementation of system improvements.

What you bring:

• Must have at least 7 years of experience in production support for JAVA and LINUX based applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with Unix/Linux based applications and excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.
• Experience with Oracle & SQL Server Database.
• Experience in structured Ticketing Management environment (Incident Ticket, Problem ticket, Change ticket, and Service Request).
• Analyze Application logs, troubleshoot issues, determine action, and ensure smooth operation of Application Environments.

Added bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of FIS’ products and services.
• Knowledge of financial services industry.
• Knowledge and experience in WebSphere 9, JBOSS, OpenShift Container management.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW), Dynatrace, Splunk.
• Knowledge of Bit Bucket, JENKINS, REST Webservices.
• Knowledge of Networking/load balancer concepts.
• Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
