Our Intermediate Insurance Representative role could be a new career for you. There is a lot to learn, but we have a clear path for your journey and USAA is committed to investing in your success! Our comprehensive six-month training program is fully paid and includes all the materials, discussions, hands-on training, e-learning modules, and guidance from instructors to help you support our members independently.
Our in-office development program provides you with the training you need on USAA products and empowers you to provide proactive and independent support to our members. After six months in the office, you'll have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model where you can work from home two days a week.
For new hires starting in January, February, or March 2024, we are offering a signing bonus of $2,000, to be paid in one installment.
The OpportunityWe are currently looking for dedicated Property & Casualty (P&C) active producer/agents with an active P&C producer agent license for future insurance customer service opportunities in 2024. We have new training classes starting every month. Military veterans and spouses are highly encouraged to apply. Work schedules will vary and may include some weekends.
As an Intermediate Insurance Representative, you will provide customer service, sales, and retention activities for our Property & Casualty personal line products. You will interact with our members through various contact channels, such as phone calls, emails, chats, and social media, to provide advice and coverage options that support the financial security of our members.
What you'll do:- Answer phone calls, emails, and other member requests to enhance their experience
- Help members with quotes, new business, policy information, billing, payment, underwriting, coverage, and other insurance-related services using your developing knowledge of personal lines insurance
- Understand member needs and provide accurate advice and solutions, minimizing transfers and escalations
- Utilize available tools and resources to assist members
- Efficiently navigate multiple systems/programs while maintaining engaging member interactions
- Maintain required Property & Casualty (P&C) licenses and state registrations
- Identify and handle risks associated with business activities
- Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience in insurance, financial services, or relevant direct customer service or sales experience
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and navigate through multiple business applications
- Current active personal lines or property and casualty license in your current state of residence or state of hire
- US military experience or being a military spouse/domestic partner
- Prior experience in a fast-paced contact center environment

What we offer:Compensation: We assess market data and establish salary ranges to ensure competitiveness. Your salary will be within the range based on your experience and market data. The hiring range for this position is: $46,366-$50,300.
