About the team (Cyber):
As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management (TPM) in Capital One's Enterprise Cybersecurity organization, we are looking for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity. Your role will involve delivering cyber tools, integrating software and processes across the company, and protecting both our company and our customers from threats. You will also help us develop the TPM discipline within the team, using your industry knowledge and experience to show the organization the value of a great TPM.
Our TPM Senior Managers have:
- Strong technical backgrounds, ideally in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services. You will be skilled in identifying and addressing technical risks throughout the delivery process.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and influencing skills.
- A quantitative approach to problem-solving and the ability to work holistically to find solutions.
- The ability to simplify complex technical concepts and make well-informed decisions across various teams.
- A focus on execution, accountability, and achieving results.
- The ability to collaborate with different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done.
- High emotional intelligence, listening skills, and empathy for teams and partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs.
- Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, or implementing cybersecurity solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services and architecture, preferably AWS.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery.
- 3+ years of experience delivering large and complex programs, owning the business or technical vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, securing commitments on deliverables, and unblocking teams.
- Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering).

Salary Information:
- New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 - $222,800 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management
- San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $206,800 - $236,000 for Sr. Manager, Technical Program Management
Candidates hired in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Actual salary offered will be reflected in the candidate's offer letter.
