About the Role:
We are looking for a Sales Product Specialist who will be responsible for sales strategy, execution, and collaboration within our business unit. Your role will involve reporting on sales activity, aligning with the business unit, enabling the sales teams, and generating new sales opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing:
Sales Engagement:
- Manage product distribution through various sales channels.
- Support sales activity by attending meetings, qualifying deals, and training sellers.
Business Unit Engagement:
- Collaborate and engage with the aligned business unit.
- Report regularly on sales pipeline and market strategy.
- Ensure alignment on target markets and goals.
Solutions Management:
- Ensure our products meet the needs of the target market.
- Influence product roadmap and market positioning.
Marketing:
- Support the development of messaging and campaign strategies.
- Review lead generation and support the qualification process.
Go-To-Market (GTM):
- Collaborate with the Growth Office Transformation and Acceleration team to create a complete GTM plan.
- Support product launches and define target markets.
Sales Engineering:
- Bring in pre-sales support for key opportunities and ensure smooth transition.
What You Will Need:
- 10+ years of product/industry experience.
- 5+ years of selling experience.
- Strong relationships within FIS Business Units.
- Good understanding of competitive landscape.
- Deep relationships within key institutions in the industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in engaging with C-level executives.
- Ability to create market-facing messaging and positioning.
Additional Considerations:
- Broad knowledge of FIS products and services.
- Experience collaborating with marketing teams and channels for lead generation.
