Job Summary: We are looking for someone who believes in the power of education and wants to help every person, regardless of their background or abilities, achieve their dreams. As a Community Education Program Manager, you will work with our Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program to develop, administer, and evaluate our district-wide programs. You should have a strong understanding of child and family development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
Duties Include:
- Assist with leading and developing program areas
- Recruit, train, and supervise non-licensed staff
- Support ongoing community needs assessment
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach plans
- Manage grants and initiatives
- Communicate with stakeholders
- Monitor program finances and enrollment
- Assist with other Community Education programs as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred
- 3+ years of experience supervising Community Education programs preferred
Desired:
- Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
- Experience teaching in similar programs
- Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
- Experience with outreach and marketing
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Experience working with families of low socio-economic status
Salary: Please refer to the Management Personnel I-M agreement for salary information.
Work schedule: We offer flexible working hours that can be discussed upon hire. This is a full-time position, including summer hours, with occasional evening and weekend work.
