Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of strategies for the Finance, Banking, and Risk (FB&R) Instrument Sub-Ledger, including operational model, processes, and controls.
- Collaborate with existing Sub-Ledger platforms to identify requirements and integration opportunities for legacy platform decommissioning.
- Coordinate with the Accounting Transformation director to align Accounting Hub and Sub-Ledger functionality.
- Collaborate with Product Control, Financial Control, and operational stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities and minimum viable products (MVPs).
- Lead the transformation of US GAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAP Accounting by defining requirements and implementing accounting rules.
- Identify data sources to feed into the Accounting Hub and Sub-Ledger.
- Represent the FBNR Sub-Ledger in program-wide governance and ensure alignment of deliverables.
- Manage workstream deliverables and dependencies across business stakeholder groups.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive experience working with financial services products.
- Detailed understanding of US GAAP and IFRS accounting concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle, SAP, or similar ledger platforms, including instrument sub-ledger capabilities and design.
- Strong network of senior finance, shared services, and business stakeholders.
- Experience driving global change in finance functions and implementing process re-engineering initiatives.
- Experience with agile program methodologies and delivering in agile environments.
Preferred:
- Significant experience with ERP transformations (Oracle, SAP).
- Leadership experience in Chief Accounting Officer, Controllership, and Finance Shared Services organizations.
- Project management certifications, such as PMP or Agile, are a plus.
Salary Ranges for Multiple Locations:
- New York City: $170,880-$256,320
- Tampa, FL: $136,700-$205,050
