Community Education Program Manager
Job Summary: We are looking for someone to help empower students to achieve their dreams and contribute to the community. As a Program Manager, you will support the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff by providing input on program development, administration, implementation, and evaluation. You should have good knowledge of child and family development, as well as excellent communication, computer, and collaboration skills. Duties Include: - Assisting with leadership and development of program areas - Recruiting, training, and supervising staff - Supporting ongoing community needs assessment - Developing and implementing marketing and outreach plans - Managing grants and initiatives - Handling data and communication with stakeholders - Monitoring program finances and enrollment - Assisting with other Community Education program areas as needed Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree preferred) in Education, Business Administration, or related field - 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred - 3+ years of supervising Community Education programs and staff preferred Desired: - Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood - Experience teaching in ECFE or similar programs - Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment - Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs - Experience working with diverse populations and low-income families Salary: Visit the Management Personnel I-M agreement for salary details (Pages 3-4, Section 1). Work schedule: The core hours will be determined upon hire, with flexibility approved by supervisor. This is a salaried position that may include summer hours. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
