Job Summary:
To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and skills to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and engage in lifelong learning. This position provides support to the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff, focusing on the development, administration, implementation, and evaluation of district-wide EC&FE programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the leadership and development of program areas
- Recruiting, training, and supervising non-licensed staff
- Supporting community needs assessment work
- Developing and implementing marketing and outreach plans based on community needs
- Managing grants and initiatives
- Managing data and communication with stakeholders
- Monitoring program revenues and expenses
- Analyzing enrollment data to inform future program needs
- Assisting with other Community Education program areas as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred
- 3+ years of supervising Community Education programs and staff preferred
Desired qualifications:
- Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
- Experience teaching in early childhood programs
- Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
- Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Experience working with families of low socio-economic status
Salary: View salary details in Management Personnel I-M agreement
Work schedule: Core hours will be determined upon hire with some flexibility with supervisor approval. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
