Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Education Program Manager who will inspire and support scholars of all backgrounds and abilities. The role involves working with the Early Childhood & Family Education (EC&FE) Program Coordinator and staff to develop, implement, and evaluate district-wide EC&FE programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of child and family development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people. Duties Include:
- Assisting with leadership and development of program areas
- Recruiting, training, and supervising non-licensed staff
- Supporting community needs assessments
- Developing and implementing a marketing and outreach plan based on community needs
- Managing grants and initiatives
- Keeping stakeholders informed through effective communication
- Monitoring program revenues and expenses
- Analyzing enrollment data to inform program needs
- Assisting with other Community Education program areas as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred in Education, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in public school and/or community-based early childhood and family education programming preferred
- 3+ years of supervising Community Education programs and staff related to this position preferred
Desired:
- Teaching license in parent education and/or early childhood
- Experience teaching in ECFE or comparable programs.
- Experience with home visiting and PreK-3rd grade alignment
- Experience with outreach and/or marketing programs
- Experience working with highly diverse populations
- Experience working with families of low socio-economic status

Work schedule: We understand the need for flexibility and will develop core hours upon hire, which may be adjusted with supervisor approval. This is a full-time position, including summer hours, with occasional evening and weekend hours
