Position: Delivery Driver Job Description: - As a Delivery Driver at Aaron's, your work will involve much more than sitting at a desk. You will be responsible for various tasks, including driving, installing, and demonstrating merchandise to customers. Additionally, you will be asked to support the store by assisting with the movement, installation, and pick-up of merchandise. Each day will be different, but one thing remains constant - you will have the chance to connect with many wonderful people in our community. Here is a potential path you can take: Delivery Driver > Customer Accounts Advisor > Sales Manager > Customer Accounts Manager > General Manager Requirements: - Clear and effective communication skills - Basic knowledge of electronics - Desire to assist and help customers - Ability to load, secure, and protect merchandise - Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle - Willingness to pitch in and support store tasks when needed Additional Requirements: - Age: Minimum of 21 years old (18 years old in Canada) - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.) - Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and 300 lbs. with the help of a dolly (don't worry, we will provide training and tools to ensure your safety) - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain or sun - Valid driver's license (CDL not required) Benefits and Rewards: We value our team members and offer a range of rewards to show our appreciation.
