About this Team:

The production support team at FIS consists of Mainframes, Open systems Batch scheduling, NDM: Connect Direct, CA Output Management & CA Easytrieve administration. We operate from Bangalore, Chennai, and Pune. Our Level 3 team provides Scheduling and Admin services for multiple clients hosted at data centers globally.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Maintaining the job scheduling system using the TWS/OPC MAINFRAME tools, including new/improved work procedures, test programs, systems and/or hardware/software changes, efficiency improvements, responding to processing problems and client requests, and maintaining the data center disaster recovery plan.
• Defining TWS Objects such as jobs, job streams, event rules, prompts, parameters, calendars, resources, variable tables, workstations, domains, run cycle groups.
• Utilizing advanced scheduling techniques for interval scheduling, such as holiday processing.
• Ability to dynamically schedule work and use scheduler package for variables.
• Creating/modifying JCL as needed for job functions (copies, backups, restores, etc).
• Diagnosing abends and resolving related issues.

What You Bring:

• 5-8 years of experience in TWS/OPC Mainframe Scheduling with knowledge in Mainframe Scheduling Administration, Output Management, JCL, MVS, TSO.
• Working knowledge of the components and architecture of the scheduling system.
• Ability to read and configure calendar functions.
• Ability to interpret client requests into the abilities of the scheduling tool.
• Ability to analyze flow for improvements and knowledge of applications and client processing.
