SNC Lavalin are looking for Railway Systems Manager for Riyadh Metro Project, KSA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to oversee all Railway Systems Maintenance (Signaling, ATC, Telecommunications and SCADA) activities and verify that it is being carried out safely and to the passengers and the Employer’s satisfaction;

  • Responsible for measuring O&M Contractors performance, must be capable of evaluating and adjusting performance where and when required;

  • Overseeing the O&M Contractor’s mobilization and including sub-contractors (e.g. Transit Systems Suppliers);

  • Reviewing the O&M Contractor’s submissions; asset and maintenance plans, procedures, instructions;

  • Overseeing the coordination of the O&M Contractors with the DB Contractors;

  • Responsible for monitoring, auditing and reporting of the KPI regime;

  • Must be able to advise on the asset management strategy.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ technical and management experience

  • Good English verbal and written skills;

  • Experience of working within large, fast moving organisations;

  • Good problem-solving skills;

  • Good written & communication skills, with the ability to write accurate and clear reports;

  • Project Management experience;

  • Experience of supervising subordinate professionals, performing activities such as training, assigning work, evaluating performance, or disciplining;

  • Holds a relevant Bachelors degree.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Good understanding of Railway Systems ‘best practices’;

  •  Experience in managing large rail projects with multiple stakeholders.
