ABOUT THE TEAM

  • Must be well versed with Core Banking Platforms - Required

  • Banking Knowledge required (retail and/or commercial) - 5 to 10 years

  • Prior experience working with Offshore Teams is a must

  • Very familiar with SAFe Agile Workflow Patterns

  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes as well as real time integration using APIs and Events

  • Prior experience working with data frameworks including big data for integration, warehousing and reporting

  • Flexibility with work hours

  • Good understanding of on-premise and cloud frameworks for distributed data processing and integration

  • Knowledge of data catalogs, meta data management and data governance processes

  • Ability to review mapping documents or create new mapping documents for data and integration pipelines

  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of financial services industry and associated products

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

  • Client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients’ needs, establishing credibility and building positive, professional, relationships with clients

  • Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally

  • Requires strong time management skills, attention to detail and must be resourceful

  • Project management skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks

  • Requires leadership and negotiation skills

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Product Line Manager is focused on data, reporting and integration. FIS Modern Banking Platform has multiple data integrations with client reporting solutions and ancillaries. A product manager with knowledge of data, analytics and interfaces is critical to better define the data, tooling and methodology to enable better client outcomes.

  • Completes business scope documents and defines epics/features based on user personas

  • Manages vendor relationships key to product delivery

  • Collaborates with vendor support managers for oversight and maintenance

  • Coordinates and facilitates pilot activities acting as primary contact with client/vendor, securing pilot agreement and monitoring progress.

  • Acts as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution.

  • Works closely with development teams and architecture to review enhancement requests for strategic value and align resources.

  • Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner

  • Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner

  • Client relationship management skills, understanding and focusing on clients’ needs, establishing credibility and building positive, professional, relationships with clients

  • Requires strong time management skills, attention to detail and must be resourceful

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how best to resources to meet schedules and goals.

  • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect group.

  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.

  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning products and/or clients.
