Job Description

As a Business Developer, your role is to seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting. To do this you will leverage existing leads and generate new interest through calls, emails and events. When connecting with a prospect you will learn about their business challenges to determine whether jobpal will serve as a solution. When you have identified a qualified prospect, your goal is to concisely communicate the value of jobpal and gain interest in a deeper conversation. You will have a working relationship with our Head of Sales and Regional Sales Manager to develop innovative strategies for uncovering new opportunities.

  • Conduct high volume prospecting for qualified leads
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Managers to develop and implement appropriate prospect strategies and plans
  • Support our Marketing Team to build our inbound marketing strategy, and a stronger leads pipeline
  • Work internally with the Sales Managers to ensure proper quality and quantity of demonstrations
  • Schedule online product demonstrations
  • Conduct  qualifying calls to verify leads
  • Build our sales reports in order to optimize channels
  • Travel through Europe to fairs, client meetings and conferences (up to 25% travel time)


  • Fluency in both German and English 
  • Sales or prospecting experience would be a big plus
  • A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach for achieving them
  • The ability to deal and address objections
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Tons of energy, passion, humor, compassion, and enthusiasm
  • Passion for helping businesses grow and curiosity about the tech industry
  • Humility and enthusiasm in their work
  • German, written and spoken on a native level, would be a big plus
