Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic, and passionate individual to join our Technical Services Team as a Field Tech Support /Implementation Engineer. As a critical part of an emerging company, you should be ready to be on the frontline of delivering world-class sales support to our growing roster of enterprise customers. You will be measured on KPIs such as technical support response, meeting solution implementation timelines, overall customer experience, project close out rate and speed and customer post-training surveys.

What we need you to do as a Field Technical Support / Implementation Engineer 

● Field implementations of the AI platform ● Proactively follows scope and documents deviation ● Provides implementation support and software installation / configuration as needed ● Collaborates with sales to ensure that Account Managers are aware of any issues, and status. ● Monitors customer support for technical solution issues. ● Perform technical presentations, product demonstrations and product training ● Attend preliminary calls with customers for information gathering and scheduling criteria. ● Own technical responsibilities in deployments for product. ● Work with engineering and development on any “bug” reporting or product testing as needed. ● Staying on top of all product releases and features. What you’ll bring to them● Experience in technical engineering and deployments ● An obsession with making and keeping customers happy ● Bachelor’s Degree - technology or business degrees preferred ● Relevant experience in video analytics, IP video applications required and physical security preferred ● Relevant experience in implementation of on-premises hardware and software

Qualifications

 ● Experience working with and supporting a partner network that installs off-the-shelf hardware and Linux-based software ● Exceptional ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and site contacts ● Strong organizational and documentation skills ● Technical aptitude – quick to develop a deep understanding of new software ● Excellent time management skills and the ability to work proactively in a “virtual” office at times ● Keen desire to become knowledgeable about machine learning and its applications in video for the enterprise and cities ● Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS, Python and shell scripting, and IP camera set-up and configuration (including details like resolution, focal length, etc. that are important to video analytics applications) ● Very detail-oriented with great follow-up ● Curiosity to learn and assimilate technical information quickly, enthusiasm to share and teach others ● Work closely with product management and engineering to efficiently translate customer feedback into the solution ● Experience with forms of Support Software/ CRM systems
