Job Description

The Sales Director, Customer Accounts is responsible for deal management and personnel management across the North America CAE ( Customer Account Executive ) sales team. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years related sales management experience and a demonstrated success record in sales of at least 5 years. Experience creating and managing both strategic and transactional accounts is required.        

This role reports to the VP North America sales and is fully remote.                                          

Jitterbit CAE’s ( Customer Account Executives ) are responsible for generating expansion business with midmarket and enterprise customers across all verticals.

The CAE team works closely with multiple stakeholders including Sales Development Representatives, Marketing, Partners, and Client Success Managers to identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within their list of customer accounts                                   

The major objective of the team is to over-achieve against the assigned quota through a combination of core and non-core expansion. This is accomplished via inbound opportunities sourced in collaboration with the Client Success team and outbound lead generation performed independently and in conjunction with the SDR and Alliances teams.

    • You can guide a complex sales cycle from inception to close
    • You have experience cross-selling new products/features into existing customer accounts and coaching others on how to do the same with success.         
    • You have built consistent and sustainable pipeline. You and your teams consistently achieve quota
    • You are adept at coaching how to conduct account research and can synthesize those findings into a strategic account plan
    • You pride yourself on preparation, attention to detail and forecast accuracy
    • You thrive on execution via a prescribed process               
    •  You have experience with a modern sales “tech stack” including salesforce.com, Salesloft and ABM solutions or techniques                
    • You seek to be coached rather than managed                    
    • You have a proven track record of success working in a team environment, meaning you coordinate executive and cross-functional resources. You can problem solve and know when to  involve leadership in the execution of strategic/larger opportunities
