Job Description

Ekte Nordic Kitchen is a Nordic restaurant within the Bloomberg Arcade in the city near Bank and Cannon street stations.

We are currently looking for a Sous Chef to expand our current team.

The successful Sous chef will be open-minded, creative, ambitious ,energetic and a team player.

Previous experience in Nordic cuisine would be an advantage but not necessary.

Experience in a high out put and fast paced restaurant is essential.

The above role is to work along the Head chef and other sous chef to run the kitchen operation on a daily basis.

Duties includes but not limited to:

- Organizing and be a part of the food production and set up for service.

- Running service alongside the head chef.

- Ordering and stock rotation

- Food production and service following recipes and company specs.

- Staff training and guidance.

- Making sure all procedures in the kitchen is in line with the company’s Food safety rules.
