Job Description

Position:

Provide technical support and transfer technical knowledge of our systems to customer technical teams during planning, installation and configuration of Jeron life-safety hardware and software equipment in the end-user facility.  Assist in troubleshooting and creating test plans by phone with minimum travel to optimize the performance of the Jeron system installation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent related field
  • Min. 8 years of relevant experience in technical service/support role
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking with ability to troubleshoot with tools such as Wireshark
  • Experience with wired networks including IP based PBX telephony integrations with SIP and Dial Plan setup
  • Prior experience with Nurse Call, patient monitoring, RTLS, HL7 or messaging middleware a plus
  • Working knowledge of supporting IT infrastructure such as VMware, SQL servers, storage arrays and networking equipment used in data centers
  • Excellent communication skills
