Job Description
Reporting to the HR VP, as a Regional Partner you will be a strategic advisor and collaborator between the HR department and organizational leadership, working with managers and employees to align HR plans with business goals. You will the development of effective HR practices to support talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and change management.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnering:
- Be a trusted advisor to business leaders to align HR strategies with our goals.
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with leadership to guide organizational change and improve workforce productivity.
- Employee Relations:
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Talent Management:
- Support workforce planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives; Identify skills gaps and implement development programs.
- Improve performance management processes to improve employee productivity and engagement.
- Coach managers on feedback and performance improvement strategies.
- Works council management:
- Be the primary contact between Jellyfish and the works council.
- Lead discussions on company policies, changes, and initiatives that require works council approval or consultation.
- Stay updated on legal developments affecting employee rights and us.
- Ensure all negotiations and agreements comply with labor laws
- Develop proposals and documentation to present to the works council.
- Anticipate potential concerns and prepare responses or adjustments to proposals.
- Build and maintain a positive working relationship with works council members to foster trust and cooperation. Be a mediator in disputes to align the interests of the company and employees.
- Global to local Initiative Implementation:
- Drive the implementation of global plans locally, considering the nature of markets, needs, etc. such as diversity and inclusion, and employee engagement strategies.
- Contribute to the design of HR policies, with local understanding & feedback, and ensure consistent application
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
- Support onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Provide guidance on local compensation structures and benefit plans to ensure equity and competitiveness in the market.
- Analyze trends in compensation and recommend adjustments to attract and retain talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 6+ years in HR roles, with at least 3 years in a business partnering or strategic HR capacity and at least 2 years experience handling Work Council
- Strong understanding of labor laws, HR practices, and business strategy.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
