Job Description

Reporting to our Chief Solutions Offer for AI Studios, we've got an exciting opportunity for a Global Programme Director to join our team, leading our core Innovation & Delivery teams:

  • End-to-end production; global mastering and adaptation at scale
  • Language Services
  • Design & Copywriting

As the Global Programme Director, you will lead a Brandtech, Top 5, "Group" client, ensuring you and the wider Innovation & Delivery teams deliver excellence on behalf of our client, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction, retention and growth. Your primary team will be London-based, with Regional and in-market teams across 50+ markets globally.

We are looking for someone with a background in Global Operations & Delivery, a deep knowledge of production workflows whether they be manual, automated, offshore - and an understanding of best practices in an agile workplace and industry. Commercial negotiation is as important as fresh thinking and new ideas (that can scale).

You will be part remote and part based in our London office, with regular visits to our Group sister agency (London), and with Global Client Partners based in Amsterdam. Global travel is a necessary requirement of the role.

Working in partnership with our client, the Global Programme Director will be accountable for delivery across multiple workstreams and any tech deployments against our internal AI Studios ethos.

You will guide the strategic operational vision and efficiencies, and new ways of working for the teams to deliver excellence, grow our scope, all whilst using data to underpin our decisions.

  • You will be accountable for the global delivery of an important global account.
  • You will collaborate with others to create strong client relationships as this role is client-facing globally.
  • You will be seen by clients and the account lead, as the lead voice on Innovation & Delivery, being a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • You will provide direction to the wider delivery teams.
  • You will continue to stay on top of the latest developments, advocating for these areas and being a go-to person for leadership, clients and team leads.
  • You will articulate how Brandtech products and solutions can support a clients' goals, identifying opportunities to enhance our client's offering.
  • You will become an influential leader, embodying our cultural values and respected by other individuals.
  • Delegate to others and provide appropriate support and feedback to help develop the career of others in the delivery team.
  • You will support the client leads, ensuring they have the appropriate resources needed to meet client needs.

This role is right for you if:

  • You are very tactically minded with the ability to work with globally distributed (creative and) production teams
  • You can interpret client specifications and direct teams to deliver on time, on budget and with the highest quality.
  • You can partner with and collaborate with our client's other vendors and suppliers.
  • You can ensure that new challenges and requirements from the client are understood by the team, and you will participate in solution development as the engagement evolves.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of agency and global programme or project management experience
  • Understand how global teams can centralise their approach while maintaining local nuance.
  • A background in adaptation and rolling out automation solutions to improve efficiency while maintaining creative consistency.
  • Creative, digitally and technically-minded in nature – you will need to look at our tech stack and find solutions to improve our delivery function.
  • Comfortable with clients, being the expert in the room and ensuring clients understand what we need to deliver work and manage change in the upper creative funnel.
  • Experience in capacity and resource management so you can work with the global resource teams to find solutions.
  • Experience managing a team of different skillsets and ensuring a good culture between all regions/markets is maintained.
  • Work with external agencies/vendors to build processes to ensure file delivery is as smooth as possible.
  • Experience delivering work within agreed commercial structure/s (FTE, Freelance, Offshore, and 3rd party vendors).
  • Ensure our tech is set up to report on the different metrics required by client's and deliver within agreed Service level agreements.
  • You can simultaneously focus on the big picture and the small details.
  • Be a positive advocate for change, which contributes to the success and operational excellence of the model.
  • Implement a unified approach to improve our internal process and ability to use innovation.
