The salary range for this position is $85,000-100,000

Reporting to our Senior Production Director, this role is perfect for a creative and accomplished video editor who possesses a deep passion for storytelling and social media.

You'll be someone with a background in creating new content and editing and repurposing existing content (like shows and films) into new, engaging narratives tailored for social media platforms. You'll excel in a collaborative environment, bringing creative ideas to life while working with creatives and social teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with social producers, creatives, content creators, and other editors to brainstorm, plan, and deliver dynamic video content tailored to specific social media platforms and audiences.
• Collaborate with animators and designers to ensure cohesive content creation that aligns with project briefs and goals.
• Mentor lower-level editors, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Employ advanced editing techniques to cut, splice, and apply effects, ensuring each piece of content is visually stunning, perfected against brand guidelines, and aligned with the project's goals.
• Contribute to the creative process by offering fresh ideas and solutions that elevate our content and engage our diverse audiences.
• Stay ahead of social media trends and advancements in video editing technology to ensure our content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful.
• Engage in constructive team meetings and feedback sessions, embracing opportunities to refine and adapt content following collaborative insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in video editing with a demonstrated experience creating engaging content for social media, including reimagined narratives from existing media.
• Entertainment experience would be a big bonus!
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro and After Effects, and familiarity with the latest video production technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of post-production workflows.
• Storytelling capabilities, with an understanding of how to craft compelling narratives that resonate with several audiences.
• Experience working collaboratively in team settings, contributing positively to a creative work environment.
• Experience working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines, akin to a newsroom or live broadcast production setting.
• You'll embrace challenges as opportunities and seek feedback to enhance your skills.
