Job Description

The Account Director’s primary responsibility will be to manage and build relationships with agency client and partners by fostering an environment for the delivery of a strong, efficient and creative product. They will be accountable for overseeing the smooth delivery of Performance Marketing platforms and executions, while focusing on individual business acumen, mentorship and the growth of their assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads on one or more of the most complex and/or strategically important client(s) accounts (international, cross capability, or large group client) and collaborates with others to create exceptional client relationships as demonstrated in NPS scores of C Suite client contacts.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for our clients, works with C-level members of our top 50 accounts, and extends our network within the client organization.
  • Effectively leads Quarterly Business Reviews for our most complex clients.
  • Effectively leads complex and/or strategically important renewal efforts.
  • Develops well-articulated Strategic briefs that inspire innovative and effective approaches to solving client business problems and leads the team to deliver the objectives of the brief.
  • Provides oversight of the current client remit whilst driving growth activity through documented Account Growth Plans that lead to account growth.
  • Manages commercial targets, ensures client projects are resourced to deliver successful outcomes, and works with Client Management VPs to problem-solve any gaps.
  • Fluent in all Fundamental Tools. Identifies and closes any gaps where we are not meeting our standards for great Client Management on a client, Hub or across their network.
  • Leads and facilitates revenue growth of a Hub.
  • Recognised by our partners as a key influencer within Jellyfish. Works with the most senior levels of Client and Jellyfish leadership to develop best-in-class strategy resulting in significant positive impacts on client business outcomes.
  • Mentors clients and people by earning trust, delegating and providing valued expertise.
  • Redirects conversations towards outcomes instead of output by articulating the value exchange to clients.
  • Supports the Product Team in the creation, delivery, and advocacy of new products.
  • Supports more junior members of the organization in finding their subject matter expertise.
  • Evangelises about their specialized subject area both internally and externally
  • Understands the skill level of the team and works with internal resource teams to ensure all individuals are equipped to manage the client workload they are assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a subject matter expert both internally and externally across multiple Performance Marketing products and/or verticals
  • Strong experience in AAA account management and commercial focus
  • 4+ Years of team leadership experience
